About This Interview

Barbara Feldon was interviewed for nearly two-and-a-half hours in New York, NY.  Feldon spoke about her appearance, in her twenties, on The $64,000 Question in which her area of expertise was Shakespeare.  She spoke about some of her earliest appearances on television in such series as T he Man from U.N.C.L.E.and East Side/West Side.  She spoke in great detail about the role and series for which she is most associated, “Agent 99” on Get Smart.  For Get Smart,she described the character she played, gave her impressions of her co-stars, and related several production stories.  She talked about her work in later series including Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In, Cheers,and Mad About You.  She also noted some of her feature films, such as Michael Ritchie’s Smile.  The interview was conducted by Jim Colucci on October 22, 2007.
